2 Days Safari Zanzibar to Mikumi National Park

Overview

This 2-day safari from Zanzibar to Mikumi National Park,starts from Zanzibar Airport in Stone Town where you will catch a domestic to Dar es Salaam Airport. Here you will be met by your safari guide who will transfer you to the Mikumi National Park. This safari is perfect for those who have limited holiday time, but wish to combine their beach vacation in Zanzibar with a short wildlife safari adventure.

Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer from Zanzibar to Mikumi national park

Early in the morning our driver will pick you up from your hotel to zanzibar port in order to take the first speed boat which leaves at 7:30am from zanzibar to Dar es salaam and you will arrive at Dar es salaam at 8:30am, Once after arriving at Dar es salaam Our Safari driver will be ready for picking you from Dar es salaam to Mikumi national park.

From Dar es salaam to Mikumi national park, you will spend almost 5 hours but you will stop at one restaurant on the way for having a lunch and later proceed to Mikumi national park and you will arrive at 3 pm and Once arrival at the park you will keep embark on a game drive at the park in searching for wildlife such as giraffe, elephant, buffaloes, zebra, lions while spotting different numbers of bird’s found in the park. at 6:30pm where you will end up your safari by seeing a wonderful sunset view then Later heading back to your lodge for dinner and overnight relaxing

Day 2: Transfer from mikumi to udzugwa mountain for a hike .

Early in the morning after breakfasts, you will get of your accommodation transfer to Mikumi to start your early morning game drive in the park until 8:30 am where you will have a short break for breakfast after breakfast you will have to go back at your lodge for checking out then you will continue with safari until 10am, so on this day be alert to conclude your safari with view of the wildlife possible catching a view of other wildlife you didn’t see the previous day, after ending your safari, Our Safari driver will drive back out from the park then start heading back to Dar-es-salaam.

you will stop on the way for having a lunch and even the washroom after that you will go on driving to Dar es salaam and you will arrive to Dar es salaam at 3:30 pm.

When you arrive at Dar es salaam, you have two options for going back to Zanzibar. By flight, it’s almost 1 hour to arrive at Zanzibar airport.

By speed boat, it is almost two hours to arrive at Zanzibar port. In this trip if you want to come back by flight, inform us very early please.
